A strategic roadmap for the Quantum Temporal Institute — an evidence-driven research, education, entrepreneurship, and justice-support platform.
Updated 28 October 2026 — live paid checkout with instant access, automatic refunds when a paid AI call fails, and founder revenue reporting.
The Quantum Temporal Institute (QTI) is an online-only research and education organization founded in June 2025 by Alexander Luke Ohnemus. QTI investigates difficult questions at the frontier of science, technology, education, consciousness, and justice — while clearly distinguishing established knowledge from hypotheses, philosophical arguments, anomalous evidence, and speculative concepts.
It began around its own internal fellowship certificate program and has since transformed into a full evidence-driven research hub. The platform now centers on a Command Center that organizes dozens of research, education, technology, entrepreneurship, justice, and consciousness tools into a single navigable dashboard. A formal Evidence Classification System classifies every claim, article, hypothesis, and AI-generated analysis by evidentiary strength, so that no speculative hypothesis is presented as an established fact merely because AI generated it.
From October 2026 the platform also sells its services and products directly. Every priced offering is paid through PayPal hosted checkout, and access is granted automatically the moment the buyer pays: the app records the purchase with the buyer's contact details, shows the buyer their own purchases & access page , and alerts the operator immediately. Paid offerings are published on the Services & Pricing page and collected on the Paid Features & Services page .
QTI operates as a non-denominational religious pluralist institution. Its QTI Fellowship Certificates are internal, honorary awards for independently submitted research: they are not degrees, diplomas, or professional licenses, they confer no academic title and no right to the prefix "Dr.", and they are not endorsed or accredited by Cosumnes River College or any other organization. QTI is currently being developed inside a business incubator at Cosumnes River College, which has not endorsed, sponsored, or accredited QTI. QTI was formerly approved by the CPD Group; that approval is no longer active (link).
The QTI platform is organized into seven domains, each accessible from the Command Center. The following working tools and hubs form the core product:
Every priced service, course, product, and membership.
Directory of everything paid, and how each is bought.
What you have paid for, with what it opens.
Question → hypothesis → experiment → publication.
Shared source system with citations, provenance, reliability.
AI timeline reconstruction with evidence classification.
Honest investigation of survival hypotheses.
Incident, evidence, and case-brief management.
Technology Readiness Level (TRL 1–9) tracking.
Prompt library with test cases and hallucination review.
10-point evidence and ethics review.
Clearly-labeled hypothetical scenarios.
Business Model Canvas and entrepreneurship tools.
Courses, exams, apprenticeships, and training.
Personal progress and earned recognition.
Pre-existing features — the Home page , Academic Journal , fellowship certificate examinations , fellowship certificate overview , student records , and analytics — remain intact and integrated.
Everything QTI charges for is sold through the app, each with a published price and its own PayPal checkout: the done-for-you services above, the certificate process, and every page that runs on paid AI capacity — the research and writing tools, the AI video generator, and the courses. Buying any of them opens that page on the spot.
The recurring offerings are:
- AI Prompt Engineering Pack — $249 per pack
- Research & Writing Assistance — from $75 per 1,000 words
- AI Research Consulting — $150 per engagement
- Self-Paced Courses — $99 per course
- Digital Products (templates, trackers, guides, toolkits) — $19–$79 each
- QTI Membership — $39 per month
- Per-use AI tools (12 tools) — from $19 each
- AI Video Generation — $99 per video
- QTI Fellowship Certificate processing fee — $50, paid only after the assessment is passed
- Per-use AI tools — from $19 (translator, food scanner, prompt lab, simulation, retrieval, philosophy lab, technology gate, topic coach, essay generator, apprenticeship generator, accounting toolkit, publishing house), with the AI video generator at $99 per video
- Courses — $99 each, including the Science Training Course and the QTI Fellowship Examination Course
Delivery is automatic and needs no manual step. When a buyer returns from PayPal, the app asks only for the name, email, and phone (plus a short brief where the work needs one), records the purchase, unlocks the item on screen, and sends the operator an alert with the buyer's details. The buyer can reopen their entitlements at any time on the Your Purchases & Access page , which resolves their email from their signed-in account or from the browser they bought in. Nothing is held back pending approval, and nothing is charged before a price is chosen.
Every research claim, article, hypothesis, and AI-generated analysis at QTI is classified by evidentiary strength across eight tiers:
- Established — strongly supported by reliable scientific or historical evidence.
- Well-supported — substantial evidence, not necessarily settled.
- Plausible hypothesis — reasonable but unconfirmed.
- Anomalous / under investigation — evidence exists, competing explanations unresolved.
- Philosophical argument — reasoning rather than empirical experimentation.
- Theological / religious claim — derived from tradition.
- Speculative technology — theoretically proposed, not demonstrated.
- Science fiction / conceptual — exploratory concept, not a scientific claim.
This system is the institutional safeguard that lets QTI explore extraordinary questions responsibly.
Overview
QTI is a home-based, online-only business operated by Alexander Luke Ohnemus as its sole employee. It offers research tools, education, paid services, and products. QTI is not a registered nonprofit or charity, its certificates are internal, honorary recognitions rather than accredited credentials, and it claims no degree-granting or doctoral status.
Core Offerings
- QTI Fellowship Certificates: an internal, honorary recognition awarded after a candidate submits independent research and passes a 10-question assessment with 70% or more. Passing work is published with a DOI in the associated academic journal; the $50 processing fee is charged only after the assessment is passed. The certificate confers no academic title.
- Research Hub: A suite of evidence-classified research, consciousness, justice, and technology laboratories.
- Education & Entrepreneurship: AI-generated training pathways, apprenticeship curricula, adaptive assessments, and business-model tooling.
- AI Tools: Jargon translation, video generation, prompt engineering, and counterfactual simulation — each with evidence classification.
- Paid Services & Products: research and writing assistance, AI-delivered research consulting, self-paced courses, downloadable products, a monthly membership, and prompt-engineering packs — all with published prices and instant access on payment.
Target Market
QTI targets independent researchers; non-traditional and disabled scholars who want accessible recognition without a degree pathway; small businesses and creators who need research or writing help at a freelance rate; and philanthropists supporting inclusive education and open research. Users are primarily online in the USA, with potential expansion to English-speaking regions internationally.
Competitive Advantages
- Evidence honesty: The Classification System distinguishes QTI from platforms that present AI output as fact.
- Accessibility: No prior degrees required; fully online with AI assistance.
- Instant fulfilment: Published prices, PayPal checkout, and access granted automatically at payment — no sales calls or approval queues.
- Breadth: A single platform unifies research, education, technology, justice, entrepreneurship, and paid services.
- Transparency: Open that QTI is not an accredited institution, that its certificates are honorary internal awards, and that it is not a nonprofit.
- Distribution: All services delivered via the web app, which also publishes to iOS/Android from the same codebase.
- Paid offerings: A published price list on the Services & Pricing page with PayPal checkout on every item, plus a directory page collecting every paid feature and service.
- Promotional methods: SEO, structured data (JSON-LD), content marketing (academic essays on ResearchGate), and community-supported advertising widgets.
- Memberships & endorsements: Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce membership, plus documented individual academic endorsements (Prof. Donald Johnson, Dr. Amirhossein Rahmani) shown with evidence on the Respect & Endorsement Evidence page. We claim no university partnerships.
- Retention: Journal publications, earned certificates, personal analytics, the User Profile, and recurring membership keep users engaged.
- Operations: Began June 2025. Daily work covers development, research oversight, accounting, paid-service delivery, and user support.
- Payments: PayPal hosted checkout handles every priced item, and the operator never stores card details. Checkout can be paused or re-enabled at any time from the paid-feature access page.
- Order handling: Each purchase is recorded with the buyer's name, email, and phone, and an alert email reaches the operator instantly, so paid work can begin without a manual release step.
- Staffing: Sole employee initially; future hires would require computer skills, subject expertise, and outreach ability.
- Technology stack: React + Tailwind on Vite with a backend-as-a-service platform (auth, database, integrations, hosting) — enabling rapid iteration by a single operator.
- Year 1 (2026): Revenue ~$50,000 (donations, advertisers, and — from October 2026 — paid services, products, and memberships); Expenses ~$80,000; Net Loss ~-$30,000.
- Year 2 (2027): Revenue ~$200,000; Expenses ~$150,000; Net Profit ~$50,000.
- Break-even: Starting Year 2, with scaled donations and paid-offering revenue.
- Initial costs: Minimal (owned devices); marketing budget ~$200.
- Revenue streams: Paid services and digital products (PayPal), memberships, the certificate processing fee, donations (PayPal), advertisement revenue, and grants — all reinvested into research and operations.
- Credentials: QTI claims no accreditation, no degree-granting status, and no academic title. QTI Fellowship Certificates are internal, honorary awards for independently submitted research.
- Recognition: No endorsement is claimed from Cosumnes River College, where QTI takes part in a business incubator; CPD Group approval was formerly held and is no longer active.
- Legal transition: From for-profit to non-profit operation under an established entity to meet board requirements.
- Supporting documents: CPD record, app demonstration, donation details, projected income statements, and academic endorsements.
Grounded in a non-denominational religious pluralist framework and René Girard's Mimetic Theory for non-rivalrous innovation, QTI mitigates recognition and credibility risks through radical evidence transparency: the platform names what its certificates are not. The Speculative Technology Gate and Evidence Classification System are the institutional safeguards that allow QTI to explore fringe and frontier questions without overclaiming. All revenue funds research grants and operations.
